Will I feel anything during treatment?

During your HBOT session, you may feel a slight sensation as the chamber pressure increases (similar to airplane ear). Some patients report feeling relaxed or noticing subtle changes in energy or mood during or after sessions. Our certified technicians are present throughout to ensure your comfort.

Yes, when administered according to established medical protocols by trained professionals. HBOT has been used in medical settings for decades. Our chambers are FDA-approved, and our medical director oversees all protocols. Like all medical treatments, there may be mild side effects, which we discuss during your consultation.

A typical HBOT session lasts approximately 60-90 minutes, including time for gradual pressure increase and decrease. Your specific session length will be determined during your initial consultation based on your treatment protocol.

The number of sessions varies based on your condition, goals, and individual response to therapy. Some patients benefit from 10-20 sessions, while others may need more. Your medical director will develop a personalized protocol during your initial consultation.

Many patients use their HBOT sessions as a time to relax, read, or even rest. You remain in communication with our technician team throughout the session. Some patients do rest or lightly sleep, though remaining alert is also perfectly normal.

Hyperbaric therapy may be considered for post-concussion symptoms, neuroinflammatory conditions, persistent fatigue or cognitive slowing, recovery after illness or infection, and neurological sensitivity or dysregulation. During your consultation, we can discuss whether HBOT may be appropriate for your specific situation.

Wear comfortable, all cotton clothing. Remove all metal objects, jewelry, and electronic devices before entering the chamber. Do not bring perfumes, colognes, or strongly scented products. Our team will provide full guidance during your orientation.

While HBOT is generally well-tolerated, certain conditions may require special consideration. This is why our comprehensive initial consultation is so important. We review your complete medical history to ensure HBOT is appropriate for you.
